What is final expense insurance?

Final expense insurance is a type of whole life insurance that helps pay for your funeral, burial, or other end-of-life costs. It’s simple and provides financial protection & peace of mind for you and your family.

How is whole life different from term life insurance?

Whole life insurance lasts your entire life and never expires as long as you pay your premiums.

 

Term life insurance only lasts for a set time, like 10 or 20 years, and stops if you outlive the term.

How much coverage do I need?

Funerals can cost $7,000 to $12,000 or more on average, and up to $25,000. A typical policy covers $10,000 to $20,000 to help with these costs and any other bills. Amounts up to $50,000 are available for whole life. Amounts up to $1M are available for term coverage (depending on age and other factors).

Can the benefit be used for anything?

Yes, your family can use the benefit for anything they need, like medical bills, debts, or daily expenses, not strictly burial expenses.

Will my payments ever go up?

No, your monthly payments stay the same forever. Your policy also won’t be canceled as long as you pay on time.
